Johannes Greubel, Research Assistant to the Chief Executive and the Director of Studies, joined the EPC in November 2018. Prior to this, he worked as a lecturer and research assistant at the Jean-Monnet-Chair for European Studies and International Relations at the Julius-Maximilians-Universität Würzburg, where he did research on European crisis governance, migration and Brexit. His further professional experience includes working as a seminar coordinator for the Hanns-Seidel-Foundation Germany and internships at the Konrad-Adenauer-Foundation in Berlin and the German Bundestag.

Johannes holds a Master degree with distinction in Political Science and Sociology from the Julius-Maximilians-Universität Würzburg, where he focussed on European integration and worked as a student assistant at the university’s chair for European Studies and International Relations. He also studied at the University of Kent, Canterbury and did a DAAD research fellowship at the Jawaharlal-Nehru-University New Delhi.
