Privatising Migration – Nottingham, United Kingdom
17 June 2019

Alberto Neidhardt took part in the workshop ‘Privatising Migration: A Solution for the European Union?’ which the European Policy Centre co-organised with the Human Rights Centre of the University of Nottingham. Participants in the workshop discussed the origins and implications of the growing trend of outsourcing migration control to non-state organisations.


Study visit and expert workshop on the Central Mediterranean migration route

Katharina Bamberg participated in a one-week expert workshop in Tunisia and Malta. The workshop, organised by the Friedrich Ebert Foundation, looked at the current irregular migration situation on both sides of the Central Mediterranean, in particular concerning Tunisia/Libya and Malta.


European Parliament elections 2019

Corina Stratulat spoke on the “European Parliament elections 2019 – Changing the face of Europe” at the India Trilateral Forum 16 organised by the German Mashall Fund of the United States, the Observer Research Foundation, and the Swedish Ministry for Foreign Affairs in Mölmo, Sweden on 12-13 June.
